About Us

Hello,

My name is Judee Deficcio, and I am the owner/manager of Pineland Farms. Pineland Farms was born from the convergence of two family farms, the Cappelli and Deficcio farms. The Capelli Farms was my maternal grandparent's farm, and the Deficcio Farms were my paternal grandparent's farm. Both farms have a long and storied history, dating back to the early 1900s. I invite you to read the history of both farms by clicking here Our History.

From our 100+ acre farm located in Hammonton, NJ, we grow a variety of fruits and vegetables. We also make an all-natural apple cider that we think is the best cider on the east coast. At our Hammonton greenhouses, we also grow many types of floral products. Potted and hanging baskets. Cut flowers and decorative floral arrangements for any occasion.

Hammonton NJ is often referred to as the Blueberry Capital of the World, and Pineland Farms is a small part of that as we grow about 25 acres of blueberries. As a testament to the quality of the blueberries we grow, our customers refer to us as the Blueberry People.

Pineland Farms also has a CSA program. Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is a food production and distribution system that directly connects farmers and consumers. In summary: people buy "shares" of a farm's harvest in advance and then receive a portion of the crops during harvesting. Our CSA members can pick up their shares weekly. Pineland Farms sells the majority of our products at the Trenton Market located at 960 Spruce Street in Lawerence Township, NJ. We have been a member of the market since 1950. The market is open from Thursday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For the Christmas season, December 12th through the 24th, the market is open seven days a week. For the month of January, the market is closed on Sundays.

During the fall and winter months, our tables are full of delicious apples, sweet potatoes, winter squash, honey, and apple cider! In the Spring, we offer beautiful flowers, flowering, and bedding plants. And finally, for the Summer months, our tables are overflowing with every Jersey Fresh fruit and vegetable you can imagine.

So, come out to the Trenton Market and ask for the Blueberry People. We look forward to serving you.
